Starting from the B and B  l’ ESCAPADE en  Cévennes,

you discover this country by cycle thanks to a lot of roads

(More than  1000 Kms little busy) 

and every day you can adapt   your way to your feeling

 

A lot of cyclist tours for all rating

will allow you to drive starting from our accommodation  during one week

 

For the mountainbike fans, more  than 100 kms marked out,

Starting from the GUESTHOUSE  l'Escapade en cevennes

 

L’Ascension de l’Aigoual : A staggering climbing through the Parc National des Cévennes to reach the Aigoual wellknown top (BCN) where you can visit the last weather observatory inhabitaded in France.

1.300 m difference in level for this pass. During the climb, you'll discover beautiful countrysides

Les Gorges de la Vis : To see the Cirque de Navacelles, (world patrimony UNESCO classified) driving via Blandas (BCN). Ways up and ways down between "gorges" and limestone plateau to discover the Vis, a strange river

Les Templiers : To drive through the Causse du Larzac  and visit well protected medieval citadels (La Couvertoirade - Le Caylar : BCN) : magical places where the stone reign.

Megaliths : A stroll in the  causses to discover, in almost desert spaces, prehistoric age traces. Dolmens, menhirs and other cromlechs put up in the heart of the forests and the "caussenardes lawns" to enjoy your way

Le Parc National des Cévennes : A route to discover the Dourbie and  Trévezel small and deep valleys. A refreshing journey along cevenol torrents  and authentic villages

Les Gorges de l’Hérault : Along the Arre and next the Hérault Valleys, you'll easily drive close to those deep rivers up to the "garrigues montpelliéraines", where the sea and the mountain meet together

Les Garrigues : Direction full East, this time. You'll discovery the totaly different countrisides of the "Nimes garrigues", by less wild roads witch smell  thyme and  lavender.
